Re: Maverick's Workbench
That's a very realistic looking cat you've built there. Although, it looks a little larger than 1/1 scale.

Love your workspace. Must be great to have all that shelf space to fill!
Beautiful cat, too. Mine is also a little bigger than 1:1!
cheers,
David

Thanks mate.
Has anyone got any photos that would help towards making a Cold War era based Diorama that will include a HAS and a control tower?

Re: Maverick's Workbench
Managed to get a couple of hours at the bench last night.
I've decided to put all the doors in the closed position so alot of filler was needed, more filler was needed for the wings and gear lumps, all the moving surfaces have been put on, the 2 wing mounted weapon pilons have been drilled and glues and now after a little more sanding she will finally be ready for paint:
And the Su-7 has had all the lumps and bumps glued on, the nose air intake cover glues and alot of filler put on, 2 "rails" on the upper fuselage and the horizontal stabilisers are on:
Her sisters are looking on waiting for her to be finished:
I'm hoping to get a little more time on them both today but it's looking increasingly doubtful.]

Re: Maverick's Workbench
Thanks mate.
More work has been done on the Sukhoi, the last bits and bobs were added, the 2 gun barrels on the front of the wing next to the fuselage have been drilled, glued, filled and sanded, weapon pilons have been added, primer and top coats of Halfords Silver have been painted and finally aswell as all gear, wheel wells and wheels the "nosecone" and top of the tail have had their first coat of green.
She's coming together really nicely now, I've decided to finish this before carrying on with the Tupolev when I added loads more weight to as she's just not nose heavy enough!

Some very nice work going on here Mav.
Love the Su-7. A proper old school speed machine.

Re: Maverick's Workbench
Thanks again guys.
Did more work on the Fitter last night.
Finished off the paint work, the gear and doors have been finished, decals are on and clear parts are on too.
I did try and have "07" but the decals broke up in the solution so I could only use "7".

Re: Maverick's Workbench
Thanks Fellas!
Haha the Badger sure is big but wait till you see the next build I've got lined up for the Cold War SIG display!
I had a session in the paint shop today.
Masking off the open holes with tissue and bits of tape really does the job!
Low tech with max results!
When the TU-16 Badger is complete she will be the first big build I've ever completed next I line to the MiG-31!
Here is a shot taken earlier:
