Thanks. To get a decent depth to yellow I spray an undercoat of either dayglo orange or red. Works a treat. The rigging is a combination of patience and luck. :mrgreen:

Tail rigging on. Engine attached. Top wing decals applied. Not long to go. This is one cracking little kit.

Next up is the 1/32 Roden Siemens Schuckert D.III. I've got a Pheon decal set complimented by Aviattic lozenge set as Roden decals are notoriously naff.

Masterful job with that Stearman, Toby that really does look the business. The SS D-III is an interesting late war fighter and what a great collection of schemes for it, I'd be hard pressed which to choose TBH - nicer problems to have! :grin:

Started work by drilling and cutting out the hand holds on the fuselage and louvres on the bottom of the engine nacelle.
