Dazzled's Den

After some deliberation, I've decided to start a workbench thread to allow me to put up little updates on ongoing projects that don't make it into the relevant sections of the forum and, maybe to throw in the inevitable unfinished GB models too.
Some of you may know that I moved bench a couple of months ago. I had to swap my nice spacious bench for a small dark hole under the stairs. Of course, I had to evict Harry Potter first but, hey, it's my house and he can sod off to Hogwarts .
Actually, I've made the space quite habitable and it seems to work pretty well. I won't be building any 1/32nd Flying Fortresses under there but, so long as I keep everything organised and in it's place, it suits my current modelling needs perfectly.
And this is what's squeezed into my little den at the moment.
Obviously, there's a Mig involved.
This has been on and off the bench for a year now (see my Big Mig Build) but is now heading seriously in the right direction.
It's even attracting some paint.
And, recently, I pulled another unfinished project off the shelf.
It's my Airfix Swordfish from the GB we had back in April. It was shelved because of the amount of time my studies were taking but recently it's made a triumphant return to the bench and I've made some pleasing progress with it.
The other model that's also popping on and off depending on my particular mood is this.
Eastern Express's re-issue of the Frog Supermarine S6B. This was inspired by Garethsters excellent model featured recently on the forum. I've got much of the main construction out of the way. it's a basic kit but buildable with a bit of patience. Of course, I couldn't leave the cockpit as an empty hole so I added a few believable gizmos and a basic seat.
And that's what I'm building at the moment. Hopefully, I'll get a couple of finishes very soon and move onto something more ambitious.
The Airfix 0/400 beckons
