These big Russians look brilliant. Always been a sucker for brutal looking warbirds. And that natural metal finish is awe inspiring, putty queens or not.

What is the load out on the Fitter?
Thank you.

The Fitter carries a recce pod on the belly, a KKR multi-sensor reconnaissance pod which contains forward looking and oblique cameras, as well as photo flash cartridges for night operations.
The outers are just fuel tanks and the other two are an SPS-141 ECM pod and a UB-32A rocket pod.

Lovely neat builds Mike and great subjects. If you're interested we'd be happy to show these on the Cold War SIG display :)

Both your 1/48 beasties have turned out fantastic.
(and both these kits I disposed off for fear of pain not worth the gain).
I am impressed and humbled!

KH 1/48 Banshee WIP...
Got the fuselage and wings all assembled.
I'll leave them to cure and get the fuselage married up to the wing centre section and we're almost ready for painting...

Looks really good in those markings, Mike. Aftermarket decals?

Looks great!

I'm not familiar with that scheme.

You are so prolific. Where do you find room to display it all?

Thanks Mike. This scheme is one of the kit options, makes a nice change from the glossy sea blue.

Thanks, his is from the kit options. I must admit I had trouble when searching for references.

I don't keep them all, this for example is a commission build.

One beautiful model. I like the unusual scheme a lot.
