An all embracing 'how-to' that packs a lot into its 125 pages. Topics include airbrushing, diorama building and how to get the best out of a display.

Its age means that it's limited in the range of materials/ glues covered, however in those days more was made of metal polystyrene, paper, cardboard and wood, so we get tips on how to use a soldering iron and spokeshave. It's often quaint. Such as in rigging techniques- electrical wire and mosquito netting.

It contains 25 colour plates to inspire. Plenty of line drawings and B/W photos.
It's a translation from the Bartholomew press and cost £8.00 which was expensive at the time, roughly equivalent to £37.00 now!
