Still kicking myself for not grabbing one at the Nats. They were selling it for $20 and I looked through but figured I would grab it later and never made it back to the vendors.

It's a good book, IMHO. I haven't done anything out of it yet, but it seems very usefull.

There are 30-odd 2-4-6 page articles on one or more Airfix kits. Little bit of real world history, mostly so you'll understand what you get (or don't get) in the kit and then some text/pix on building a more accurate version, or perhaps a different version. The predominant subjects are British or Britsih use of US vehicles -- there are just 6 German WW2 vehicles and the US M113.

It's on sale in some WH Smiiths for £4.99. I spotted a copy in Camberley yesterday.
