Got enough tins of yellow ?

Lots of interesting schemes 1918-1945 era, starting with the wildly colorful post-WW1, then into Silver Wings, and finally into DG/DE/Yellow. Target Tugs are included as they were a 'trainer' for air and ground gunners. A few aerobatic machines from the flying schools. Good coverage of Canadian and South African trainers.

Many are just side color profiles, but there are also a good number of 4-views or 2-views. Commentary with each helps fill in the details on history and the given markings.

I like trainers & tugs anyway and now I'm going through my stash noting just how many can be done as trainers and/or in a niftier scheme than I already have. It may make a slight chnage in what I do in the upcoming Defiant SKGB.

I saw this and was delighted to see it was titled vol 1 1918-45 as I therefore hope Vol 2 1945-19?? will appear in the next year as that is right up my tree.
