Lancaster Squadrons in Focus **New Edition**

Post by T-21 »

Published by Red Kite Books author Mark Postlethwaite,ordered my mine from Wing Leader £23 includes postage, £25RRP. What a fresh look at the Lancaster. Loads of new Lancaster photographs(200)and excellent detail shots chosen especially for modelling. Also explains the differences between early and late production aircraft with details on aerials and appendages. Here is a sample page http://www.rafmuseumshop.com/sites/defa ... 9-RK_2.jpg;
The original publication was produced in 2002 . This edition has beautiful colour plates . Well recommend for Lanc lovers .
New book in the series on the Short Stirling out soon.

I got a copy of the new Lancaster book from the Cosby Victory show, i had it signed by M.P who had this book + lots of his prints for sale.

its well worth it - photos and colour profiles are very good - lots of details here, for when i have the time and room for my 1/48 scale mk111

Glad to hear that the Stirling is the next in the series - i will have to add this to my 'wants' list.

Best regards

Paul
