I don't think that's called a 'bookshop'..... :ha:
I'll throw them up and you can hit them ;-)

Congrats Mike. I will be picking one up as I didn't buy all the magazines as, well, sometimes your article was the only thing that interested me.

Now, the book does come with all the decals you made for each of the projects, right? What? No, oh dear.

Well, maybe you can send me a couple copies for the Airfix Landrover and I should be good...

Just found Mike's thread here http://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3282;, there's 23 in that.

So not in the book are the:

Sopwith Pup
Mirage F.1
Saab Draken
MiG-29
Fiat G-91
Fiat G-50
F-5E Tiger II
Albatros D.Va

So is eight enough for another book?

Hmm. If there are 15 in the book, he will need to make a few more. Maybe a Stirling, Sunderland and Ju-52? Those are bigger and take up a bit more space. Maybe even the C-130. Would love to see what you can do with these kits.

Bought the book in my local W H Smith's yesterday. Very good.

I would most certainly buy a second edition.

Perhaps you need to negotiate a better deal with the magazine or Airfix so that you get some dosh from the book version too.

My copy arrived damaged in the post thank you Royal Mail !! A quick call to Clare Tobin at Sam Publications and as Bedford is on my doorstep called in for a pristine copy . A big thank you to Clare for this as it makes up for not being able to attend Telford.
This is a good buy for £9.99 lots of useful tips if you missed the magazine articles.

Got mine from the Doncaster Aircraft museum. Got a good book and supported a charity so winners all round. Very well done Mike, the book is superb. I've had a quick read through some of it but will be reading it thoroughly very soon.
If you have not got the book I can not recommend it highly enough, it's well worth the money.

All the best.

Greg

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. I still haven't seen a copy although Gary H. Is sending me samples. It's available at W H Smiff's, apparently.

And an update, the second book in the series is imminent. It's not quite a 'Circuits and Bumps' Volume 2 as it has several other of my SAMI builds in it, but it does have the remainder of the C'n'B articles. Also, thanks for the words of support – I did eventually receive some remuneration for the first book and it looks like the same will be the case for this one too Image

'bout time Mike!

Have devoured your first book - so much so I had to wiro-bind it so it would survive in one piece. I work in printing and the perfect binding job they've done isn't... Regardless, I've never seen a more inspiring work and have just ordered the second volume.

Keep it up!
