British Carrier Aviation - 1939-1945 - Ron Mackay

Post by aeroplanegripper »

Just recieved this today via our hard working postie, from Squadron/Signal publications. To give me extra motivation and subjects, this book contains stacks of photos and colour plates, some I have never seen before. (Just seen the next Martlet Im going to do!) Well recommended.

The Fleet Air Arm, from the dark days of 1939, through the successes of the Bismarck and Taranto operations and the crushing of Hitler''s U-boats, and on to the final strikes against Japan with the US Fleet. Over 100 B&W photographs, 5 color photos & 8 pgs of 40 - count ''em - 40 full color profiles. 64 pages.
