The History of RAF Aerobatic Teams from 1920

Post by T-21 »

Priced at £30 I borrowed this book yesterday from my local library. Hard to put down . Not a modelling book but fascinating pictures and research most modellers will find it of use .

What a great book - I see a potential future GB here! How lucky you are that your library bought this book - you should thank them for their interest in aeronautical matters.

Hello Paul,
All of the UK libraries were facing huge budget cuts but luckily the government realise the educational value of them so libraries have some rein in what they can purchase. This book was lurking in the sports section near the para-gliding section, not the main aviation section. The library was of great help when I was learning to fly in the seventies with text books.
There are some colour photographs in the book but no side plates but this does not detract from the content,it covers all of the RAF teams since Hendon and does not over emphasise the Red Arrows.
