The weekend of 10th and 11th October saw the running of the annual model show and competition of the South Australian Plastic Modellers Association. Here are the pics I took. They may not be the winners or best, but just the ones I liked. First the cars.
This was a nice Combination
A 1958 Mazda, nicely painted and weathered
Here's one you don't see everyday
Some military subjects, all 1/72 scale
More to come

Re: South Australian Plastic Model Show
Some aeroplanes. Wingnut Wings 32nd scale
I think this was a 48th scale Komet
Some 72nd scale planes
Nice Heinkel
Because I recently finished an Italeri Seahorse, here's a Hobbyboss Choctaw
Here's another I had a go at
Not the new Airfix, I'm guessing Italeri?
Just because I liked it
This is just to prove to myself that it does all fit together. Doesn't look too shabby either
Colourful scheme
Nice colour variations
That's not all.

Re: South Australian Plastic Model Show
More planes. Some whatif schemes.
A desert Hawk
Three versions of the Airfix Lightning. A Finnish scheme. Nice missile trolleys
Indian. Someone broke the probe off
Italian. Awesome paint
Crap at cockpits? Put a tarpaulin over it
This was a scratch built sci fi subject. I don't recall what the builder called it, it had something to do with elephants, and this is elephant shaped, and has a baby elephant as the driver in the cockpit. Not my bag, but I can appreciate the effort that's gone into it
Still a couple to come. don't go away

A couple of motorbikes. Nice vintage subject
Everybody look at da chopper!
This was cool, it was based on a photograph which was displayed underneath
Here's a very dynamic diorama. The builder called it 'An English Tragedy', it depicts a pair of Landrovers being blown up. I think it was expanding foam used as the explosion. Pretty thought provoking
Some armour in 48th scale. First a Tiger
A Patton
This may have been 35th scale, I don't remember
Screen saver anybody?
Maybe this one
And that is my lot. Hope you enjoyed.

Re: South Australian Plastic Model Show
There's some great work there, thanks for posting. My favourite is the desert hawk
Best wishes

The Apollo Command/Service Module and Lunar Module looked really good. The colours looked spot on.
