Pics from IPMS Boise show

Post by philp »

Just over a week ago the Mad Dog Modelers of Boise, ID (that is in the USA) had their first show.

A little over 400 models on the tables from 39 entrants. I put in 4 and had a table as a vendor.

Overall a nice show.

While there I stopped in a couple museums the Friday before the show.

Did you mean 390 entrants or did everybody really bring a dozen entries?

Nope, 39. Dem Brudders (those of you in the US will probably know the Engars) took advantage of the $5 entry fee for unlimited entries and think they brought around 80 models themselves. I had 4 entries and the locals brought their fair share in.

That's a really high class set of builds - well worth looking at every single one of them.

Great pics, especially the museums. I'm sure I've seen that P40 in the air over this side of the pond. Thanks for sharing them with us.

All the best.
