As I thought had been arranged, I stood like a lemon outside the competition room from 11.25 until 11.35, on my own. Perhaps the flaw in the arrangement is that we were not wearing red carnations to aid identifaction, though a 6ft 2in 'lemon' was probably hard to miss. So in case you missed me, I was there!
