Post by Chuck E »

It's that time of year again. Bigger and better than ever.

This was best in show.

Lovely model of the Amethyst - do you happen to know the details of the model?

Thanks for sharing!

Peter Hall, who made all the masters and etched sets for White Ensign, lives quite nearby and always attends the local shows. This is one of his excellent models. The problem at our show, is that I'm so busy that I rarely get time to have a coffee and a chat with Peter, just a few minutes.

Here are some links.

Ah, that would explain.

Funnily enough, I had an e-mail conversation with Peter just yesterday - might have been while he was at the show...! He's mastering a PE set for the old Frog HMS Trafalgar kit, so he's added me to the pre-order list.

Thanks for the link to Atlantic Models, that will be very useful (and expensive!!!)
Some fantastic models on show; the trio of riflemen is excellent!
Best wishes

Looks like it was another good show Ian. Just a shame I was not able to attend, we could have had a cuppa & chat.

Thanks for sharing the images.

Excellent photos. It looks like a good show, so I may have to contact the organisers to see what the chances are of getting a table for the Revell and/or CBK SIGs next year - I've only just realised that Darlington isn't as far from me as I thought it was - 139 miles according to Google maps.

Cheers
