Picked up a leaflet for this Festival at the Ipswich Waterfront/University.

Looks interesting but I didn't see much model content. If that is the case I think they have missed a massive opportunity. What better way to show the extent and breadth of 8th Air Force operations in the UK during the war than having a model display depicting the aircraft, equipment and units that took part.

It's too late now but if they ever do this again, I reckon they should contact as many model clubs as possible (Ipswich IPMS for a start) to see if they could make a scale contribution.
