Re: 2011 IPMS/USA Nationals, Omaha, NE - Pictures
Just posted up another couple hundred pics in the 2nd link including some sprue shots from the Vendors area.
Doing pretty good Jim. It is taking my mind off of things at home though I have had a couple calls regarding the insurance so can't get away even here.
Bumped into Paul and family a few times. He helped me out by taking the Tamiya 32nd scale Spitfire I won in the raffle off my hands. Today I won a 1/144th scale Tornado (which promptly went in the box or the troops) and a Badger Universal 360 airbrush (not bad for a $10 investment).
Going to try judging tonight so that shoots the rest of the evening. One last run at the vendors in the morning to see if I can get any last minute sales.

Knowing how much effort is involved in taking the pics and then uploading them, I really appreciate your sharing Phil.
Just spent the last hour and a half browsing and it's now way past my bedtime!
Regards,
Bruce

Glad to help with the Spitfire, Phil - you know its gone to a good home...! Nice to see you, as well as John Ratzenberger and David Knights, both UAMF members also.
I took some photos today and will post some next week once I get home.
I'm working the SAM Pubs stand with Gary and he's shown me actual proof that he finished TWO models last month - I think your prolific ways are rubbing off on him, Merlin!
A good show, if somewhat smaller than many recent Nats. The vendor room has been somewhat disappointing, and the contest seemed somewhat smaller in numbers. Bringing the family has added a whole new dimension as well. I'll offer up a fuller report on my return.
I don't recall seeing any Jo Han kits at all, Brews, let alone the '109.

Have seen several UAMF members here at the Nats. The show seems as large as Phoenix to me. I've posted a few photos on my blog.

He needs to, to retain some small modelling credibility!PaulBradley wrote: I'm working the SAM Pubs stand with Gary and he's shown me actual proof that he finished TWO models last month - I think your prolific ways are rubbing off on him, Merlin!
Seems strange that so many of you met up and yet there's no CBK-USA any more.
