Great pictures Paul. It was fantastic to finally meet you after all these years on the forum.

Nice photos, Paul. Missed meeting up this time - I was hiding behind a big sign at the Great War SIG table when not furtling through boxes for old C-Scale sets and the like...........

To all at SMW, thanks for contributing to a very enjoyable weekend. I enjoyed the company at Wetherspoons and you may (or may not) be interested in knowing that my £5 kitswap B-47E looks salvageable.
Looking forward to SMW 2017 already!

Re: SMW 2016 Pictures
It was wonderful to see everyone and many thanks to you all for making me feel at home again. Hopefully, I can do it all again in a couple of years.
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the displays - while they were not quite what we had first envisaged, they were still nevertheless very effective displays and I think we can be proud of what we achieved. Well done!

This was great, it really was and the display received a number of favourable comments. Thanks to all who made the effort - the whole thing was a bit touch and go for a while but in the end came together beautifully even, as Paul says, if it was not the display that we originally envisaged.
It was really excellent to see you all and to socialise together - a fantastic weekend! (I preferred the Weatherspoons in Telford to ours here in Pontefract but it is a little too far to go for a pint on a Friday night!).

Hmm, somehow I seem to have managed not to actually post the images I thought I had last night - tiredness I guess.

I made a point of taking it easy this year and enjoyed myself thorough, plenty of great chat with punters and traders topped off by a great night out on Satuday, wish I could have stopped out for one more pint!

Re: SMW 2016 Pictures
I must admit, that has to be one of the best SMW weekends I have been to.
All 3 Sigs put on a fantastic display, but most importantly,it was fantastic to meet up with such lovely, and friendly people who enjoy a laugh, a drink,an argument, more drink etc,and that is what made the weekend special for me.Hopefully I can get to Huddersfield or Cosford to meet up with some of you again.

Great stuff. What a great job our CBK exhibitors did with the display . . . yet again. Thanks for the time and effort.
