South Australian Plastic Model Show
Posted: October 20th, 2017, 8:02 am
October 14 and 15th saw the annual South Australian Plastic Modellers Association show and competition. I attended on the Sunday, and here in no particular order are some pics.
A couple of cars. A De Lorean
This appealed because at one time every car that was missing it's radio aerial had a coat hanger in the shape of Australia stck in the empty slot
Armoured cars
Armour builds
Aircraft. Nice metallic finish on the Mirage
Wessex wreckage
Some more aircraft. Airfix 1/24 Typhoon
Don't recall who, but someone on this forum dropped their Frog Vimy. Here's some inspiration
We've all seen the photo, this is the first time i've seen it in model form
The Atlantique was very nice, as was the Beverley. The Dakota was a junior entry nice work
Some nice groupings on the Airfix stands
The Airfix mounted figures
A nice rendition of a U.S. ship. Then and now. This was only a small model too
A Ferrari themed Star Wars kit
3D printed Soviet Buran and Lifter. This was BIG
A Jumbo and a Kingfisher
Until next year.
