Just wondering if anyone is intending to visit this? Not a show per se, but usually some good bargains to be had and the bacon butties are excellent :-D

I'll be popping along, can adjust timing if anyone fancies a meet up

It's not massive to be fair; Hanslope village Hall ain't exactly the Albert Hall, but it is always popular and some good deals to be had

So am I correct in thinking that HAMEX doesn't have a competition?

No, it's not a show as such, just about 7 or 8 traders really but there are a few models to see sometimes :-D

I've been planning a trip to one of these Hamex Model Markets, what are they like?

Short and sweet is one way to describe it
There are around a dozen traders, including a couple of sci-fi specialists, Little Cars are usually there, S & M Models too. Usually some bargains to be had with a good range of subjects both old and new. There are usually photos of previous events on their website.
The bacon butties are worth the trip on their own, but then it's only about ten miles for me and my grandson lives in the next village
