Just catching up on the various goings on in this GB. The interior looks good Jeff, nice job on the instrument panel. Nice ha'penny as well.

Some more assemblage done today. Overall this kit is a real blast to work on.

Hoping to smooth out the seams yet today.

Thanks for the comments everyone. @Flakmonkey, Steve the half penny is dated 1943. I can't remember how I got it however.

Did you have any problems fitting the back portion of the bottom wing with the fuselage? I found that join to be a real pain on the Hasegawa IX

No Ralph, mine went in clean. But I did have a bit of a gap in the starboard wing root. Most of that was taken care of by setting the dihedral of the wing, the rest filler.

The lower cowl is a separate piece and it had a bit if a lip on both sides when installed.

Well, I was called out of town and away form the bench. Was able to check in once from a motel guest computer.

My Spit is primered and ready for camo. Time is short but I am again focused.

So here we go for the latest on my Hey Bop a Rebop Rhubarb Pie.

Uppers: Ocean gray

Image

Lowers: Medium Sea Gray (Grey)

And thanks to this site for learning just how they go, my Spitfire wheels show proper alignment even of the camera twists it a little.

I decided to bomb up my Spit as Rhubarbs included more than just guns, right? Dark Green later today with any luck.

Decaling in progress. Should have things wrapped up on time. Pictures later I hope.

Oh, I went with dark green on the bomb.
