 I did notice but I thought I would not pester you. I'm sure you know all about the straw and the camels back!
Don't worry Pete, it's a running gag, so the more silliness the better. :ha:
That's what makes a good GB, lots of jokes and banter from everyone.

And my vengeance will be swift and terrible... :-D :ha:

I thought I'd bring you guys upto date with my work so far, this is going to be it for a few days as I'm away this weekend.
(ok if you must know the wife and I have been invited to the Raf Honington summerball! 8-). My best mate is a sergeant there.)
Anyway back to the build, Got the shiny coat on and quite a few decals, 4 or 5 to go on top and all the underside. When thats done I'll have to fit all the landing gear and mast followed by a matt coat, so fingers and toes crossed should still complete ready for the end.

The canopy looks a lot worse in the images than it does with my wonky eyes
Can some one tell me if this mistake, that I only noticed on the photos, is fixable and if so how, bearing in mind it'll be a few days before I can do anything about it!!! Kudos to the 1st one to spot it!!

I've been watching everyones builds and learning loads and the level of work is outstanding, well done chaps.

Thanks for all the encouragement
Cheers

No, it should be FT-A on one side and A-FT on the other according to the instructions. One thing the RAF was not consistent about!

Well spotted John.

Pete, As I can only make out print that small when I put the decal under a magnifying glass, I wouldn't try to "fix" it. Just accept that your model has a TIK DIA TSRIF aboard

Guess who has just finished his 1st G.B.?

I've really enjoyed this build and watching how you guys build your kits has been great.

So to continue with my build here it is with all the bits on just waiting for a matt coat

Great work Pete. Sure looks the part. DIA TSRIF was a pre NATO/OTAN stencil. :-D

Cheers lads, any pointers on my noobie skills? Someone must have thought 'Why the hell is he doing it that way?' or 'Wow, I remember when I used to do that that way.'
Thanks again for the interest chaps.

Congratulations on completing you're first group build. :party The hurricane looks fantastic. What color did you paint the exhaust stacks?

I hope you plan to join us in the Anti-Shipping group build in August. 8-)
