Great work there Paul. I like the weathering and I was wondering if I should attempt my 1st bit on my Hurricane, but I bottled it! And as I'm going away next weekend I can not be talked into as I wont get finished in time.

I only use pastels, and the weathering took a good 15 minutes.MackemPete wrote:Great work there Paul. Re: Paul's Spitfire Vb
Late reply to this but I do believe they're most likely trying to shift their stocks of Humbrol 30. There recent calls for Hu 163 is a mistake as that is a satin paint when RAF dark green at the time would have had a matt finish. I personally use Hu 116 now and it looks so much better.bromo wrote:Very nice job Paul, the Hu 30 looks fine to me,the new Mk x11 calls for Hu30 as well perhaps Airfix know something all the great modelling sages dont ????
