Many thanks to Dirk for allowing this!
Now, first off, excuses. As you may or not be aware, I have already entered a Douglas Devastator into this gb. Annoyingly though real life has gotten in the way, and I have found my modelling time massively restricted due to finally flying the nest and moving into my own place. This being the case, the Devastator has suffered big time from a lack of attention, to the point that I am not sure if I can get it finished in time. As this is my first gb, I'll be damned if I don't complete something for it, so I am entering this sub into the gb as I am sure that I will be able to finish it - limited parts, limited colour palette. Even someone like ME should be able to get this one done! So without further ado, I present to you my new thread. Pics of the build in a wee while - got to go and have my tea first!!!

Re: Desert Fox's Trafalgar class sub
Here are the obligatory 'in the box' shots:
I have made a start on the sub hull, and glued it together:
My impressions of the kit are that it is a good kit, if a little limited. But hey, what more can you ask for from a sub model? The detailing is recessed, but not too heavily. You get a lot of decal options (ie the name for the stand - not much difference between subs!) Will post more later!

Haha, no, you don't
Have removed the tape tonight, and this is the result:
Tonight I will be filling the gaps in the hull. To be fair, the gaps aren't that bad at all, and won't need a lot of filling. Hopefully before long she'll be ready for her first lick of paint
