Having missed out on the Airfix Mosquito SKGB last year, I'm in for a FBVI in CC colours and invasion stripes. I also have the aspiration to do a FROG Beaufort in RAAF service, but we'll see how t'Mossie goes . . .

regards,

Martin

I definately want in on this...just don't know what yet. I'm thinking a torpedo armed Beaufighter, but that could be subject to change. Good job I've got until August to decide!

I'm in, with an Airfix TBM Avenger.

When does the GB start? I am travelling for work for the next week or so, I won't be able to fondle any plastic until the beginning of July.

Well I can fondle some plastic ... I'm in Newcastle (Australia) and upon visiting Frontline Hobbies discovered that they have 20% off all plastic kits until the end of June ... well I could hardly refuse an offer like that, could I. :-D

But back on topic ... the Airfix Avenger it is, an old boxing in lovely dark blue plastic. I have some resin & PE bits & bobs en route, and I also have to organise some replacement decals, as the ones in the kit are no good, but I think I'm OK on that score (or will be, when it all arrives).

I intended to use my Aichi 'Val' for this, but that was before I knew there was a Pearl Harbour GB coming up. So with the Val being saved until December, I'm going to be building an Airfix Devastator. It does look like a pretty dated kit, but I''ll have fun with it. The old ones seem to have a charm all of their own.

Digging through my CBK's like the Matchbox Beaufighter X, or the Airfix TBM or Helldiver or Mossie. Yeah, there is a few to choose from.

That would be the Frog kit, reduxed - perhaps you could enter that one in the Swordfish GB?

Eastern Express has access to a number of old Frog moulds, and ones from other companies as well. Not sure if they produce their own moulds though.

I might do three Coastal Command Blenheims at the same time, in the same way I did the Ansons. But they will all be from the same Squadron with different codes and serials, displayed airborne in a lose V formation on the way to attack German shipping at low level at the outset of WWII.
