I have an Italeri He111 in the stash which has markings for a KG26 example operating over the North Sea in 1941-42 armed with torpedoes. I don't know if your markings are the same as mine is 20 years old so they may not be.

Hmm. Odd. In my boxing its the same aircraft and squadron, but it has bombs instead of torpedoes. There is instead a Mediterranean option armed with torpedoes

Jeff you are quite right "Roadsteads" were RAF anti shipping sorties,

Rhubarbs were pure fighter roving sorties over enemy-occupied Europe, seeking ground targets for destruction.

Circuses were more complex, involving larger fighter escorts to medium bomber sorties, where the bombers were used a ‘bait’ to draw the Luftwaffe fighters into battle.

Roadsteads were offensive anti-shipping sorties, involving fighters and bombers.

Considering all the time-rifting that occurs at my place now :), I would say that "I cautiously" get myself involved in ASuW warfare with 1/72 Hasegawa Marineflieger Tornado IDS. Hopefully I can get it finished, maybe along GR4.

Can I join in with a 1/72 Revell P3-C Orion in Dutch Markings.

The deadline should give me a kick up the backside to get it finished :-)

Less then a week till the start of the group build and my Kate still hasn't arrived. Time for plan B. Whatever that may be.... Thinking about doing a twin build of a tri-color SBD Dauntless and a A-24 Banshee. Time will tell both kits would be the El-Cheap-O Testor's kit

I had intended to join in with an Airfix buccaneer of the South African Air Force but I understand the kit has a few errors for a SAAF bird so that will have to wait.

So I dug this one out of the stash:

The Skua is one of my all time favorite planes & this kit was one of the first I purchased after getting back into the hobby. I think I was a bit put off by the resin and Vac canopy so it has laid there in the deep stash ever since.

It looks so much cooler than a Mustang. 8-)
