Glad you've had a good response, most of us have probably got a heavy or two stashed away and this is a great opportunity to get them out, so to speak! It would be nice to see another airliner to keep my Jumbo company, an Airbus 340 or 380 another 747 or better still a 707? maybe even a Comet? there's a lot of choice.

I agree this should be a great GB looking at the models already put forward, thanks for proposing it!

I have just won a HP Halifax and was wondering if I could build it here. I see that there are two Revell kits on the go already, mine is the Matchbox kit so could be a good comparison exercise. I may be a bit late starting though as I have to wait for it to arrive. (Oh, and paint the spare room  1/1 scale is a nightmare :ha: )

The more the merrier - I don't think we see nearly enough of the other RAF WW2 heavies and it's always good to see one of the Matchbox classics being built so leap on in...

Join in Chip and build it here no problem, as Simon said nice to see any Matchbox kit built.

I'm in but changed my build from the B-17 to the Airfix Halifax.

I have a resin 1/144 Nimrod I might feel inclined to do. ;-)

(I had committed the Shack a good while back, just thought it proper to refresh).
