I'll be in with the Airfix P-39, will have to figure out a start date though.

Cheers,

I'm going for the 13th with a 1/43 Heller Citroen DS 19, so I've got a few days to decide what colour to paint it.

Hummmmmm. Looking over the six pieces of part 1, I'm not sure where I would shave. And the slots in the hull don't give a lot of area either.

Will study Google images more closely.

Thanks for that info.

Looks like a dry-brushers dream.

Brain fart. My Dragon Fw-190 is an A-7 not an F-8. The start has been put back to next week (Wednesday?) thanks to somebody who thinks a website can be designed in eight days.

Hey Steve, I thought you did it in six days and built a model on the seventh. :ha:

That's a shame. I'm at work Thursday. I can get onto the forum but due to the restrictions on our company network, I can't see any pics.
Best of luck and I'll catch up with your build on Friday!

As there are still a few days to go I though I'd have a go at this tomorrow.

There are only 11 pieces including the trolley so it shouldn't take long to put it together.

That is one ugly aircraft but should be a good choice for a blitz. I need to get one for my Luft 46 collection

OK, TIME Gentlemen !!!

And very good. We had 9 completions, not up to par of some BB's but certainly overcame the doldrums from this January so maybe the Blitzbau is back !!! I will probably just schedule a Blitzbau for February and August next year ....

I'll leave the forum open through the weekend, then lock it away. This will give you an opportunity to post a short after-action-review -- lessons learned, that sort of thing, that might be useful to others or will help your sustain or improve for the next one.

And I must apologize for not following along with many of the builds this time -- between travel and a hurricane, I had little time, not even enough for me to do one.
