Good progress, Jeff. You should smash this one in 12!

You are right Brews, unless of course it is your mother in law. And I like my blueberry pies. :ha:

Overview at the moment.

Image

Body work.

Image

The commanders gun is in place with a replacement barrel out of sprue. The kit part was like a "blunderbus".

Part 11 has me be-fuddled. It looks like a mud flap but I can't figure out how it goes yet. Back to google images to search that one out.

Steady as she goes. Seems I am making a little progress.

P.S. There are mudflaps on each side. Time for more thin sheet stock.

Go, Jeff... that looks great, especially with your detailing work. What a neat little kit.

Thanks everyone for the comments.

Overview for hour 5

Image

One for scale effect. New mudflaps installed. Airfix (JB Models) only provided one flap for the right side. Pesky hole on the one tie down. I never see it until I look at the photo.

Image

Let's see. Bronze green or desert yellow.

Desert Yellow, or as the latest Airfix Model World calls it "Dessert Yellow". Must be the custard... :ha:

I could care less what Airfix says but I still like the Desert yellow for the MTO look.

Nearing hour six. Hate to disappoint but chose Bronze Green.

Not doing to much with weathering choosing to show off the looks of the vehicle. But some wash and dry brushing are in order just because it is an AFV.

Settling in on option 4 on the instruction sheet. Apologies for not being up on the British Army so I can not tell you the unit right off.

All and all a nice kit. For once I did not get fumbly fingered at the end. And, I didn't continuely drop parts on the floor to feed the carpet monster.

Wonder if I can squeeze in another before the end of the month.
