Cheers Splash, it's a great museum isn't it. Even my wife found it interesting for an hour... we stayed for two in total

Re: JamesPerrin's Airfix AH-1 Lynx
All done.
Final details included:
1. The exhausts are too long they should only just peek out of the holes, I trimmed 2mm off mine.
2. Added non slip area on the roof using Hu matt black painted decal, they should be yellow edged but I felt that was asking for trouble. Having more than one black is very handy as they are all slightly different which always you to differentiate areas even if all are ostensibly black.
3. The bright red emergency access panels either side of the fuselage were added from some red decal
4. Used Humbrol's Clearfix to added the foot windows Grrr! had already planned to get some Krsytal Kleer at Telford as this stuff is awful. It get everywhere if you are not careful and will eat you paint work. I surround the holes with tape before I started but there was still touching up to do. It was a last resort as PVA would stretch over the holes.
5. Added an extra aerial beneath tailboom. The instructions would have you paint the large blade aerial white and the smaller nose one yellow - maybe on the prototypes but in service they black.
6. I didn't add an extra roundel decal to the underside - it seemed silly to use one up of pair for something that would never be seen
7. I've just remembered when writing this list I've forgotten to add the large metal loops either side of the fuselage that are evidently another aerial/antennae system, bare with me....
...there done it.
Though some of the details may be a bit off due to modelling a very early variant I think the Airfix kit captures the feline qualities of this attractive helo much better than the recent Hobby Boss kit. I've got the Airfix HMA8 with the Airwaves PE in the stash so some useful lessons learned for that more complex build. It's been another enthusiastic Helo GB and I look forward to another some time.

Very nice, James. I have always admired your finishes.

Thanks chaps. I've replaced the photos with some better ones as the sun came out today (though it's been showering heavily).
