I thought I would take a leaf out of Softscience and Kruaxi's book and build a small scene to display this build, so I picked up an Academy M35 Truck and thought I might display it with a figure or two.

Last night I sat down with the M35 on a tray and watched TV whilst building it and tonight I gave it a quick blow over with black followed by OD. I think it should look OK once I add some weathering.

That will be a nice dio. Rode a few times in the back of the ol "duce and a half". Hot and smells of diesel.

The Truck is coming along, I have picked up some 45 gallon drums and thought I might put some in the back and some on the ground and make a refueling site.

Does anyone know what colour 45 Gallon fuel drums would have been?

I’m thinking yellow or maybe white with a red band, suggestions on a post card please.

If it were U.S. they would be, well, O.D. Whew, that was bad.

I have just borrowed the blades of my Wessex Mk5 to see what it might look like when it’s finished.

It’s now time to crack on with the truck and the base.

Quick update, nearly finished the Choctaw, it will be finished today or tomorrow but the display with the truck will be finished at a later date.

Finished.

An enjoyable kit, made easy by finding a scheme from the 219th Helicopter Squadron, Vietnamese Air Force (VNAF) that used no markings
