Tommy: Aoshima 40th Anniversary Thunderbirds 2 and 4

Post by Tommy »

I am building the Aoshima 1/350 Scale 40th Anniversary Thunderbird 2 & 4 Kit. This will be my first Sci-Fi kit to build.

Ooh, cool. I'd like to get my hands on one of them.

Oh, nice...I haven't seen this specific boxing but the 1/350 TB2 is definitely one of the better ones...
Please critique my posts honestly i.e. say what you think so I can learn and improve...

Not a small kit, either.
I'll be looking for tips on this one.

After a delay...I am off an running with this kit.

The kit has parts in green of the TB2 and yellow for the TB4. I started by doing some clean up and dry fitting of the TB2 main parts. I then washed them in soapy water, rinsed them off to air dry. I'll begin painting the interior first.

Good stuff Tommy.
Could you please lob in something so that we can see how big these are?

I placed a Humbrol 14ml paint tinlet in the center of the cargo bay.
