SeaQuestDSV. Manning the Transporter in search for a new way to enforce peace and harmony on this little orb of ours. Everything seems in order. A quick look around shows all parts are still assembled.

Inching ahead along the ocean bottom I can detect an image. Could this be the way to enforce peace and harmony? Let's load up the cargo and bring it home. If this doesn't bring about glad feelings, maybe we can find many more that will get the job done.

What can it be................................

Ah yes, the supreme being's proof that we are loved and we are to be happy.

(This episode was in the can when the show was cancelled. It never aired.)

An overview of the build.

This was something different for me. Going in I thought, "how bad can 37 pieces be." Well, they all needed touching up. Some could have used more work yet. The clear plastic grill for the cargo bay was pretty un-attractive and finding the mesh really dressed the kit up.

I found the paint work a heavy task. Not so much the overall scheme but the stripping needs a steadier hand than what I have. My work looks like it should go to a Tiger Meet.

All and all, I had a good time with this build. We get so used to building historical pieces that we can't think outside the box easily anymore.

Good fun and thanks Merlin for moding the build.

Ahh, its a mercy mission, with life giving elixir, I thought it would be whiskey to go with the water though... :)
You are supposed to do the stripes before you sample the elixir though  :ha:

Great build Jeff, lots of fun, great tips.

Cheers

Came out great.

I would have preferred the Mermaid Cheerleaders but to each his own.

Now I wish I had kept my kit to do a space version.

Wonderful !!! Great job on the model and cargo selection is at least the right idea, if not the right beer ...

I also think it strange that a soggy cardboard box would be preferable to mermaid cheerleaders, but I suppose it takes all sorts! ;-)

Not the worlds sexiest vehicle but has it's charm. Anyway I think you done a great job getting the best out of it and you now have something ' a bit different' for the shelf.
