Looking good. I'm not sure it matters much but the uniforms were either navy or black. I can't remember. I'd have to dig out the old DVDs

Thanks people.

James - I do paint the eyes first and then the lids as you suggest, but the eye sockets are sunk into the head quite deep. My hands just aren't that steady any more. I'll persevere and give it another go. Cheers.

Dirk - The uniforms were black, I'm just using artistic license to keep the cockpit light in colour for easier viewing. It should also darken a bit when an ink wash is applied.
His proper uniform is in the wash....... :-D

Thanks

Alan.............

No reason to be sorry, it was just passing on useful information and that's appreciated. It then gives me a choice of whether I use it or not.

The only thing you've got to be sorry for, is getting me interested in watching the series :ha: :ha:

Thanks

I watch it now and it seems a little corny but I still praise the first season. The second season they seemed lost. Heck they didn't even have uniforms for all the cast. Season 3 was a total reinvent but was dragged down by the first two seasons.

Oh and for the record I'm now looking to the Stinger and transport kits so the fault is back to you my friend! :ha:

Not had the time to get much done this weekend, other things to sort.

But the base is finished.

And the pilot finally got his head together.

Just got to get all those details painted in the cockpit.

Glad you got hold of one. Wait till I've finished, then show me how to do it properly. ;-)

Thanks smethwick.

Just a small bit more done. Started getting the cockpit in paint, this is going to be the longest part of the build.

Once I've got some more done, then I'll go back and do the touching up of the main colour.

This is where the crystal clear canopy can feel like a curse! Good luck.

Well, to the best of my ability with shaky hands, I finally managed to get the cockpit finished.

The whole thing is now fully assembled, just need some daylight to get some final pictures.

Thanks

Now that is a great cockpit.
