Had a good day at the bench today and managed to almost fully assemble the ALF:

Apart from a bit of filler on the bottom it has pretty much fallen together. I need to make two more struts to go on the wing that were slightly to short (my error in removing from the sprue), and it is ready for painting.

The windscreens, MG and exhausts have been painted and will be attached once the fuselage has been painted.

Some people have toooo much time on their hands :-D

I have only just started to get some paint on mine:

I am going to have a concerted effort to get this finished over the weekend as I have quite a bit coming up between now and Xmas.

I just need to add a bit of weathering, and airbrush the catapult and she's finished.

Great finish -- paints and declas. Can you talk a bit about what you used, etc ...

Thanks for the comments guys.

I finally got the catapult sprayed today, just needs a bit of weathering and it's done (piccies soon).

I like to use the Revell Aqua Colour paints as they cover well and are easy to clean up. I used silver (90) for the fuselage, and Light Grey (76) for the skids. The catapult has been done in Grey (57) with a bit of Anthracite (09) added to give it a more industrial feel.

The markings are the ones issued with the kit. As there is little reference material for this it was the best I could do.
