A P-40 of the 15th Pursuit Group attempting to take off from Wheelers Field as a Zero
from Akagi swoops in to give him the good news!
Kits by Airfix (both highly recommended ), Decals are a mixture of kit, spare & home made.
More images in Gallery.
And just for Dirk my next effort will be:
Not sure what scheme it will be but all Mustangs look the same right?

Great pair OT. I need to find myself a new Airfix P-40 now.... I like it

Terrific build, O-T.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale

Very nice. And done the hard way, not like us amateurs getting both kits in the same box-and a stand!

Re: OT's Dogfighting Duo ***Done***
The duo came out brilliant. Well done my Spitfire friend.
Nice choice of kit for the Mustang. I haven't built this kit myself but I've built other Academy kits and on the whole they are fantastic kits. The decals on the other hand can be a challenge. Thick as cardboard.
One good turn deserves another. Once I somewhat caught up and finish my Daimler Benz Spitfire I'll return the gesture and build another Spit. I have a few paint schemes I want to do.
Thanks for participating in this GB OT!!
