Kruaxi's Focke Wulf TA 183
Kruaxi's Focke Wulf TA 183
User Name: Kruaxi
First Name: Stefano
Manufacture: PM
Scale: 1:72
Model Type: FOCKE WULF TA 183 -plastic model-
After Market Items: All i will find in my box of scraps, as usual... (Vroom of planes, coming from box of scraps, makes so very unhappy japs)
A 'classic' Luft 46'. It never fly in WW2 but its design is easy to identify in most of the after war first generation jet fighters, as the famous Mig 15 or the Saab J-29 'Tunnan'. Could be a fierce opponent of Allied bombers and fighters...
The PM's is a basic kit; i believe it needs a lot of work...
The box art

Re: Kruaxi's Focke Wulf TA 183
Today i had time for my Ta 183 !
Started adding items on internal
Kit gave a floor, an ugly seat, a cloche and a pedal board.
First of all i put the kit's seat in my scratchbox and took another; added lateral consoles, belts, some things...
A lot of weights on the nose
An overall grey primer, Italeri's
Then airbrushed a Gunze RLM 66, painted particulars, some little scraping and a soft dry brush with grey
That's all...

I like the cockpit, you make it look so easy.
Will the canopy be open or closed?

Great work on the cockpit. It definitely needs some extra detail with such a large canopy.

Very impressive on such an unpromising kit.

Re: Kruaxi's Focke Wulf TA 183
Many work to do, again...
Sanded, but i'm sure will need some fix after a first coat of primer (hope tomorrow)
A closer view
