1/72 Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc "Portuguese military aviation

Post by pacheco »

Hi there

I have not published anything for a long time.

This was my most recent work. A Hurricane that served the Portuguese Military Aeronautics in the 1940s.

The Airfix kit is very good

I' m doing the early version at the moment - I hope I can get my canopy framing nearly as delicate as you have.

Thanks.

Do not mask the canopy frame by frame. Is easy and more effective if you mask the horizontal friezes first, in all its extension and then the verticals.

That is a seriously great looking Hurricane, Pacheco and it's a refreshing change to see one in Portuguese markings.

That's a real stunner Pacheco. the weathering is spot on and I think anything looks good in Portuguese markings.

The Airfix kit is very good ....and so is your model. In fact I would describe the latter as outstanding!

Tidy job indeed. The Portuguese scheme suits these aircraft well & your build suits it even better. :)
