Pitot is a kit in itself. Excellent work.

I'm really impressed with the metallic effects, the fine extra details, and the lightly distressed look you're achieving.

Your skills have really gone to the next level, lately.

That's really neat work on the pitot bracing!
Best wishes

Thanks Ralph. I see bad surface preparation, dodgy painting and multiple touch ups. It's a technique I've been perfecting for many years.

Whatever your technique is James it seems to be working. Top build.

I like your method - I use it frequently too. The results look extremely good by the way.

Thanks guys. I've managed to finish it over a couple of sessions because there were a few other things than needed doing before adding the undercarriage, both of which I'd planned but forgotten about. The bow like rudder actuator and the engine exhaust. No finished pics yet, but here are those details and the kit's nose probe which was never a option in my book.

Finished photos. The building was more successful than the finish. It was what I expected from Anigrand simple resin kit but somewhat flawed due to lack of research. Thanks for following along all these weeks!

Lovely clean result that was well worth the considerable effort. I have spent numerous hours looking at this aircraft - it is in the FAA museum in Yeovilton directly opposite the tables allocated to the Airfix SIG (before the shows were closed down).
