The Ruptured Duck is getting closer to completion, with the engines now getting worked on at the moment. Once those are done and attached, I can look at throwing some paint on her.

I like this thread. All the work you put into this collection is amazing.
Have you considered the aeroplanes from the Fly Boys movie? Eduard made some film edition kits in 1/72. Another movie with an interesting aeroplane is The Right Stuff with the Bell in it. Oh well it never stops, by the end of the month the new Dunkirk movie......

I have considered the Flyboys aircraft, and they will definitely make a nice addition to the small, but growing, WW1 fleet. There's already a Nieuport 28 and Fokker Dr.1 to join them!

I've already done a Spitfire and Buchon from Dunkirk, but I'm tempted to do a couple of bigger versions....!

While I'm working on some bits of the CASA-Heinkel, I decided to drag a couple of basket case Spitfires out of a box of bits that I received a while ago from a guy on Facebook.

These are two of the old (and I do mean OLD!) Revell 1/72 Spitfire Mk.II kits. Not the most accurate of kits, but I have fond memories of building some of these as a kid.

Amazingly, the one on the left had its port wing broken off at the root, and the starboard wingtip folded up about 45 degrees. I managed to fix it, though - you can barely see the damage now!

Neither of the models has any undercarriage or propeller fittings, but I think I might be able to do something with them for the film collection.

Here's one I did earlier....

There's two projects on the go in this shot - both Spanish-built German aircraft!

Image

The CASA 2.111 is, of course, the main one, but I doubt it will be finished for the bomber GB, even with a week's extension. A shame, but there it is.

The other one is, of course, a Hispano Buchon. No prizes for guessing the film markings it will wear....!

Thanks, chaps.

The Buchon now has its wings on, while the CASA is still getting its engines worked on.

Like the B25 a lot.
