Nice work David, holy cow. Makes a brilliant looking aircraft even more so. I have the smaller Monogram ones kicking around and only one I built and rebuilt cannot hold a candle to yours at all.

Fantastic piece of work and very inspiring. It is one of those NMF aircraft that you just can't get away with paint the whole thing "silver" and your efforts in changing the metallics and weathering have really paid off. I really hope I can emulate some of your work whenever I get round to starting my 1/144 one.

Fantastic work on a great kit!
I've always loved the Hustler and once I restart I'd like to start mine!

I have watched it coming to life on your backbench and the result is worthy of the trophy itself! It is a sexy beast of doom and the model a Labour of love.

I'm looking forward to seeing it for real when you are next down for the IPMS meetings.

Re: Italeri 1/72 B-58A Hustler
Very nice. Reminds me of the old Lindberg 1/64th model that I made years ago. I think the Italeri kit is an improvement, not least because it doesn't have all the moving parts of the Lindberg kit, especially the retractable u/c, which was a pain to get to stay in place when up; almost as bad as the old Revell F-111 kit in that respect. Mind you, I feel a bit odd preferring fewer moving parts because I'm usually fuming about not being given any choice about crew, u/c, etc. Still, a delightful-looking Hustler that makes me itch to get one myself.
