Very nicely done Eric and a nice bit of potted history regarding the Agency's use of the aircraft, which I for one wasn't aware of.

I've since discovered that it arrived at NASA AFTER the X-15 programme had been finished. However, it would have been around for much of the lifting body programme and other tests that made use of the lake beds at and around Edwards.

Winders came out very well there Ekka,she does indeed look rather good.
As different as chalk and cheese to the one I'm doing(3+years of being flogged by No.1PTS as a "meatbomber").
