Zvezda 1/72 Yak-3

Post by PGAS »

Here are some photos of a Yak-3 that I just finished. It is a very nice little kit that I would recommend to anyone who wants to build a Yak-3 in 1/72.

For anyone interested, the build can be found here http://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=13089&start=165

I enjoyed watching this build come together in your WW thread Paul and these shots make it look even better! A great piece of modelling.

Lovely model!
I have been watching an Allison-engined Yak-3M and a radial-engined Yak-3U do their stuff at the Omaka airshow in New Zealand yesterday. Very impressive! They deserve a larger following. Both these aeroplanes have appeared on the Reno race circuit in the past.
Cheers,
David
