Not the best of kits to be frank; it's a 1993 re-box of an Italeri moulding from 1992 and a product of it's time. Fit is not great, raised panel lines (such as they are) and sparse detail....
Still, it's always enjoyable building older kits and remembering the good old days!
Paints are a mix of Humbrol, Tamiya and Revell acrylics, all brush applied. Oh, and I got some glue on the glazing too, just for appearances sake

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Nice one. Isn't glue on the glazing one of the modelling laws one must follow?
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Hi there, nice model. I see you followed the instructions of tamiya.
If you see the boxing of the tamiya kit you see that the middle window of the front screen is painted as is yours.
It should be clear ,but these things happen.

Hi Iggie, why scrap it? You liked when you didn't know.
As I sit here typing I remember that I have an Italeri HH-60 in my scrap stash with windows.
You can have them if you want.
Let me know what you want, regards Paul.
