Yes they did. The only thing I have added is to mark out a few of the panel lines in pencil, highlight the doors and the roof antenna in the same way and draw on the door windows with an India Ink pen. The eyebrow windows above the cockpit are supplied as decals with the kit.

It certainly is a sweet build. Not saying it's impressed me but I'm going to have to dig out my early Airfix BEA version and put it on the build soon pile. Isn't it about time we had an Airliner G/B?

All the best.

Don't tempt me. I like classic airliners and I have quite a few in the stash - but my completion rate on airliners is abysmal.

Hi Eric. Consider yourself being tempted. I am going tp suggest an Airfix Skykings G/B
Sorry for the thread hijack Fred. Normal service shall resume.

Hmm - I'd be more incentivised if it was "Classic Airliners" rather than "Classic Airfix Airliner Kits". I have been thinking of maybe having a go at one of the Welsh Models items in the stash or a Minicraft DC-6/4/Stratocruiser. I also have some F-RSIN kits to build.

Very sharp and an object lesson on why we should not dismiss the "classics" out of hand. Your result shows how nicely they scrub up with a little care and attention. Nicely done.

That's a very neat build. I keep digging out airliners from the stash and giving them some attention.
So many models, so little time.
