Thanks a lot, guys.

A bit more. I glued together the fuselage, gear bays and engine mounts. I was expecting more trouble with the mount, as the guy who reviewes this kit on modeling madness, had problems with it, but it went just fine. Instead the gun deck fit a bit funny.

Nothing is weathered yet. That part is next.

A shot inside the cockpit. Not great, but good enough.

More than good enough. Great, in fact  That's impressive work, and exactly the kind of build that might tempt me to try 1/32. Watching with interest.

This just gets better Ralph. Some of what you are doing here, particularly with the paint effects, is a bit beyond my current skills set but it's great to watch and read how you do it and who knows perhaps an old dog like me can learn new tricks

A start on my first kit a Hawker Hurricane as been made, a spitfire awaits in the wings and thinking about models to come.

Modelling space in shed coming along nicely.

Just a small update. I was out in the field most of the week, and didn't have much time or energy for models.

I assembled and attached all the flying surfaces. The leading edge of the wing needed cleaning up, as did the very back part of the wing root. The trailing edges on the elevators are a bit thick, and may even need a dab of filler. I may split, sand, and reassemble these.

I might assemble and paint the inner framing of the canopy parts this weekend, though I feel like working on some armor kits...
