Very nice little Hellcat you got there! Reminds me I have an Academy Hellcat in the same situation, GB dnf now I feel guilty.

Nice one, I like to see a Hellcat in foreign markings for a change  FAA colours and markings always look good on the type IMHO (as indeed they do on the Corsair).
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

One nice Hellcat. Well worth the wait.

All the best.

Thanks all - I still love these old Matchbox kits, simple and basic in detail but lots of character.

Totally agree Shawn - I really like the FAA colour scheme. It just suits these rugged looking fighters.

Gotta agree. In fact, I would be hard pressed to think of an aircraft that doesn't look better in RAF/RN camo and markings -- well, maybe the Sabre... That is a classic in NMF and Korean War markings.

Very nice work. This kit was one of the first I ever had, and now I kinda want another for some reason.

Nice result. I hope you had fun building it. It's rather a nice kit as I recall 8-)

Thank you - and yes I'd definitely it's nice simple kit that just gives you enough.

That takes me back! One I built soooo long ago.
Great to see there's life in the old and simple Matchbox kits!
