Matchbox Huey Cobra 1/72

Post by shangos70 »

This isn't a new build but a rebuild of a kit I did about 7 years ago. I did have a new one and was making good progress but then the crew came loose in the cockpit and I'd used liquid glue to seat the canopy. So I dug this oldie out and used the rotors, weapons pods and skids from the new one to refurb it. Just a pity the US Army markings are out of register and showing some white.

Pretty cool! I like the clean Matchbox-ness of the model a lot.

Lovely work. It's a great little kit. I built it a few years ago as a mojo restorer.

Cracking stuff Shangos, I have a liking for these old Matchbox kits (having just done one myself) and as others have said, they restore ones modelling mojo with their (Quote) 'Matchboxness'

This Cobra looks super mate.

Great looking Legacy Snake. Well done.
