Matchbox Mitsubishi Zero
Another simple little kit from Matchbox. The hardest part of the build was masking the canopy. Kit national markings were out of register so I got a sheet by Techmod to replace them. Painted with Tamyia colours, I mixed both their IJN greens as I read that the actual colour was a somewhere between the two. I added a bit of Nato brown to the orange to darken it slightly. This is the first kit I tried preshading on, and in the flesh it looks good to me. I may give it a dull down with a matt coat.

I love how Matchbox kits, despite their relative simplicity, produce very nice kits.

Nice job. I don't think I would have guessed that as being a Matchbox kit.

Impressive result.
I believe the new tool Airfix Zero is in the same scheme.

Super job Shangos! We seem to be having a bit of a Matchbox bender in the Aviation section at the moment.
I think you've got the shade of green bang on mate, lovely finish.
