I first bought this kit for my 16th birthday, back in 84. The kit itself dates from 81 and back then I was more than happy with it.
This time round, it's really showing its age. Bad fit, raised panel lines and lack of detail. Anyway, after a bit of old school modelling, this is how it turneD OUT:

It does look devoid of surface detail but your work removes the need to worry about that, good stuff!.
